Relocation of the DP World's Equipments from RGTC to ICTT

India Gateway Terminal Pvt. Limited (DP World, Cochin) awarded a turnkey project to LOTS-India, to relocate 2 Nos. Mobile Harbour Cranes (MHC) and 4 Nos. Rubber Tyre Gantry (RTG) from their old facility at Rajiv Gandhi container Terminal (RGTC) to their new facility at International Container Transhipment Terminal (ICCT) at Vallarpadom. The weight of each MHC was 415 MTs and that of the RTG was 135 MTs. The challenge was to shift these equipments without dismantling. LOTS-India mobilised Tug and Barge combination from Mumbai and successfully carried out the operation in 9 days.
